Anberlin - Two Graves (Official Lyric Video)

Anberlin are back after a long hiatus and are presenting their first new song since 2014 titled “Two Graves”. It is a definite “heavy” song in the realm of Anberlin music and I’m sure many will come to love this song as well as the band. They’ve certainly been missed and just hearing new music after all this time is a refreshing dose of nostalgia. Check out the song below and the band at a show near you this fall.… Continued →

Check out the pre-order here in some really sweet options including vinyl with some unique features. Album is out September 3rd on Facedown Records. You can find the song below.… Continued →

HeavyMind - Hold Me (Debut Song)

I’d like to introduce HeavyMind to all of you. It’s a kickback indie pop type duo featuring Teddy Boldt (Teddy At Night) and Mark Campbell. They released a debut song titled “Hold Me” on all digital networks back at the end of May and I guess I somehow missed posting about it. To me at least it sounds like mixing up The Weeknd, Chris Isaac, NYVES, TwentyOnePilots, Cool Hand Luke, and Gotye. It sounds like a weird combo of RIYL artists but that’s my train of thought and what I’m hearing.… Continued →

Jason Dunn - Billy Enforcee (New Music Video and Song)

Jason Dunn is without a doubt, BACK! If this new song “Billy Enforcee” and it’s accompanying music video is any indication of what’s to come, well then we are in for one of the best new releases of 2021. Check out the music video for the new song, below. The hard charging and heavy new pop-punk rock song definitely shares a lot in common with the first couple Hawk Nelson albums before the band went the CCM route without Jason. Download the song via bandcamp right here.… Continued →

Meadows Sign With Facedown Records

Meadows, a band I’ve written about a bit in the past as well as other writers here, will be coming out with brand new music. They have signed a deal with Facedown Records and have dropped their new single “The Depths”. I encourage you to go check out both of their last 2 releases and give them a listen. It’s great ambient, post-metal/post-hardcore stuff similar in scope to Hands, Between the Buried and Me, Thrice, A Hope for Home, Life In Your Way, Underoath, Architects, etc.… Continued →

HolyName Could Be The Biggest and Most Important Music Act of Our Time

What seemingly began as a solo project of sorts for Tommy Green of Sleeping Giant, HolyName is likely to become one of our music scene’s most important and dare I say, “influential”, acts in a long time. The music hits you in all the right spots, digging deep into the most hardened of hearts. The emotions swelling up between heavy, chugging guitars, thundering drum beats, and soft, soothing vocals building into this sort of adrenaline fueled, aggressive, and violent (sounding) worship music that you’ll never hear at a Church on Sunday morning.… Continued →
