Song of the Day: The Juliana Theory - To the Tune of 5,000 Screaming Children

There was a lot of anticipation about this band before they ever released one song. Founder/vocalist Brett Detar had been in Zao, playing on one of their most popular albums, Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest, as well as the unique and creative–and tragically underrated/unheard–emo-core band Pensive before that. With The Juliana Theory, Detar, along with bandmates Neil Hebrank (drums), Chad Alan (bass), Joshua Fiedler (guitars), and Joshua Kisker (guitars) took emo in a more accessible direction. Juliana Theory Reunites for 20th Anniversary of "Emotion Is Dead"

Juliana Theory has announced that coming this June, we can expect to see a few shows by the full band reunited! The guys are already booked for Furnace Fest in September, but will also be playing shows in Brooklyn, NY and Los Angeles, CA. Whether more will be added, we can only guess. The band will be performing “Emotion Is Dead” in its entirety and will be joined at the NY and CA shows by MAE, who will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of “The Everglow”, performing it in its entirety as well!… Continued →
