Often hailed as the most extreme Christian band ever, Rottweiler Records–to the surprise of everyone–has just announced the return of Australia’s Vomitorial Corpulence. The goregrind band released some of most sonically brutal material ever on two albums in the 1990s, and were included on a handful of compilations and split releases into the 2000s, and then disappeared.
Although invisible, it appears the band never stopped. Quietly working on material over the past 20 years, VC have amassed a large quantity of songs that could potentially fill multiple albums. Rottweiler has just released a first single, in anticipation of a full-length album later this year.
