Song of the Day: M.C.R.G. - The Lord's House

Early Christian rap is a thing of beauty. Similarly to mainstream rap, early examples–though they give insight to the development of the genre–often suffer from simplistic lyrics, weak production, and/or rapping styles that are now outdated and sound lazy by today’s standards. However, we must remember that the genre took decades to develop. In fact, the early 90s were a tough era for the style. Campaign Alert: Altar Boys / Broken Reunion 2005 DVD Release

Mike Stand and Steve Pannier of Altar Boys did a little facebook talk that included question/answer time and some classic songs done acoustic. This is all for the Kickstarter campaign to fund the DVD release of the 2005 Broken Reunion Show. It has been 30 years since the release of the band’s defining album “Gut Level Music” and next year will be the 30th for “Against the Grain”.
