I’ve been sitting on this review since last November and since I tend to move slower these days with my writing contributions, it’s better later than never. Let me start off by saying that Craig’s Brother have been a favorite of mine since I first heard “Homecoming” all those years ago (25!). Their blend of melody, aggression, and thought provoking lyrics set them apart from the rest of the pack. Craig’s Brother release yet another new song off their upcoming album which drops November 11th. The song is titled “Rodeo Clown” and is a passionate ballad of sorts, similar to a couple tracks off the classic album “Lost at Sea” and “The Aaronic Blessing (Peace on Earth)” from The Insidious Lie. This is a powerful song, one that builds on emotion and connects on a very real human level. It is classic Craig’s Brother and yet modern enough to take them out of 90’s era.… Continued →

Craig’s Brother just released one of their strongest songs since “Follow Your Heart”. This one is my favorite of the new stuff alongside Terrible Slave of course. It has that classic CB feel and adds a certain metallic guitar moment (even a solo), mid-way through the song. The music just flows so well and lyrically is as sharp as ever. Like their (mostly) unreleased song “Crutch”, there is a slight curse word which might turn off the grandparents, but it is fairly mild, just some excrement tossed around 😉 Check out “Superhero” below.… Continued →

Craig’s Brother will release their 4th Full Length Album on November 11th through People of Punk Rock Records.
