A dear friend of mine named Steven Kelly sent me a message which I just viewed this morning that he had just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Steve is married and has two young children that he was working and providing for. Steven was one of my earliest supporters in the early days of IVM and we’ve kept in touch all these years later. He even helped run the IVM booth at Cornerstone California in 2007 and loved the band Quick and The Dead when I signed them and put out their first official album “Going Home” back around that same time.… Continued →

Jerome Fontamillas of Switchfoot (and Fold Zandura/Mortal) has recently been diagnosed with Cancer. I think it would be great if all of us fans of Switchfoot, Fold Zandura, and Mortal (among other acts) join together in prayer for this man and his family. Skip Brooks who is a long time member of our little music scene has unfortunately received devastating news, that he has stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma. On top of the cancer treatments, he is having to deal with heart related issues as well. A bright spot in this story is that the Doctors believe he can make a full recovery after the surgeries and cancer treatments. As you may know hospital visits, treatments, dr visits, surgeries, etc are not cheap in any way.
