RIP Michael Bloodgood and Kaleb Luebchow

It is unfortunate news I bring you all today. Our music scene just lost two tremendous musicians and faithful servants. Michael Bloodgood who is the namesake and founding member of a legendary heavy metal band called Bloodgood that had quite a few huge albums release during the 80’s that shared Truth and Faith in a very real way through their songs and music. The band made a return about 10 years ago and released the fabulous, epic Christian Metal album “Dangerously Close” in 2013. Michael suffered a hemorrhagic stroke back in February and subsequent brain bleed that followed. This is something I know all too well since my wife too suffered through the same similar stroke almost 8 years ago to the day. My heart and prayers go out to his family, friends, surviving members of Bloodgood, plus the whole Christian metal scene at large. He is now home safe and at peace with our loving savior and God up above, suffering no more. Another insanely talented musician and drummer for the incredible and prolific heavy metal band, War of Ages – Kaleb Luebchow, just passed away as well. This talented drummer for War Of Ages and former member of The Burial is now at peace in the comfort of our Lord. Please lift up the families of these two amazing musicians and let’s keep their memories alive by taking a listen to both Bloodgood and War Of Ages. Rest in Peace my fellow Christian brothers, may your memories live on.

“Bloodgood” got me into Christian metal, and War of Ages got me into extreme Christian metal. may they both rest in peace.
