The Caballerials Join Small Step Records

I have some exciting news to share with you all today. A throwback pop-punk band I’ve been following from Hawaii just joined forces with up and coming indie/pop-punk/emo/ska label, Small Step Records. This is definitely a band to keep your eyes and ears on. Small Step Records adds Hawaii-based 4-piece Christian pop punk band, The Caballerials, to the growing roster of independent, faith-inspired artists dedicated to authentic, purpose-filled music. The Caballerials’ style is reminiscent of the classic pop punk of the 2000, laced with nostalgia and lyrics filled with faith and hope; for fans of MxPx, Homegrown, Olivia The Band, The Cootees, and Piebald.… Continued →

Seven Times Driven Bring You a New Pop Punk Anthem With Heart and a Little Angst

The group known as Seven Times Driven just hit a real winner out of the park and reached the Homeplate (quite literally!) with a fun and angsty pop punk anthem, perfect for those fleeting days of summer. This new song is titled “Flux Capacitor”, which would make Doc Brown smile and probably even persuade him to belt out “Great Scott” with his fist in the air during the chorus! The song features guest vocals by none other than David Newman of Small Step Records band – HOMEPLATE.… Continued →

A Longtime Friend and Supporter of IVM Makes Announcement

A dear friend of mine named Steven Kelly sent me a message which I just viewed this morning that he had just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Steve is married and has two young children that he was working and providing for. Steven was one of my earliest supporters in the early days of IVM and we’ve kept in touch all these years later. He even helped run the IVM booth at Cornerstone California in 2007 and loved the band Quick and The Dead when I signed them and put out their first official album “Going Home” back around that same time.… Continued →

Michael W. Smith - Your Love Is a Flood (New Song)

A legend in his own right- Mr. Michael W. Smith, is someone who has been making engaging, more often than not “catchy”, “addictively appealing”, “hopeful”, “spiritually connective”, pop rock tunes for 4 decades now, returns with yet another catchy song perfect for right now. It has that nostalgia factor going on with the electronic new wave pop sounds he became known for in the 80’s and early 90’s yet drenched in a modern electro sound perfect for 2025. It’s like that perfect upgrade so many fans have probably been clamoring for, for years.… Continued →

Indie Vision Music Statement and Reels

There has been an ongoing silence on the latest happenings in the Christian music realm and it’s not by accident, it’s pure engineering. So much so that we’ve decided (well me actually) to amp up the fun by diving head first into the world of “Reels” and short streaming clips as evidenced by some recent posts on Instagram and Facebook. While not as cutting edge and China-centric as say TikTok or as private as a Snap (not that kind of private and also, do people still use this app?),… Continued →

B is Bridgie has just dropped a really fun punk rock with pop flair to it. Imagine Yeah Yeah Yeahs meets Letters to Cleo meets Sixpence None The Richer meets Pat Benatar and Joan Jett. Please head to their site here to vote for them to get featured at The Punk Rock Museum. Voting ends tomorrow. Listen to the song below (or at the link).… Continued →
