Song of the Day: Falling Up - Moonlit

By in Articles, Song of The Day | 4 Comments

Falling Up is a  band even mothers can like lol! My mom actually likes this band for real. They were quite different as they played a experimental variety of alt-rock as they continued in their discography. They have many good ones but this is my fave. It was co-written with Family Force 5 & try not to sing along with “Let Go Now!”

Great band with great music. Also Jesse’s other projects like Gloomcatcher were great too.
I would so happy if Falling Up unbroke-up again and put out another masterpiece like Hours again.

Such a good band, with so much variety in their music. I fell off from listening for a long time, but came back because of the review of their self-titled here on IVM. That album turned into my favourite of theirs, and reignited my appreciation for all their music over the years.
This song is great, not all of their material aged as well but this one is strong for sure!

Ahh, Falling Up. Their Christmas album “Silver City” is phenomenal, particularly “Song in the Air.” That song gives me chills every time I hear it.

“Wild Bird,” off their last album, probably has the best vocal of Jessy Ribordy’s career; that part where he does the “Come down from up above you…” So beautiful…

Ah, Falling Up. I love their Christmas album, “Silver City.” I love their final album “Falling Up” (Jessy’s vocal on “Wild Bird,” that “All of us, all of us, all of us” part… that’s probably the best of their career.) I love everything this band did, to the point that the intro to “The Rest will Soon Follow” is my ringtone, and it works very well in that regard.
