Have You Heard of Public Unrest?

By in Articles | 9 Comments

Public Unrest was a Christian punk band from Vallejo, CA. FFO: UntilWeDie!, Officer Negative, and Every Man’s Hero.

Public Unrest was a ministry group from Vallejo, CA with a mission to spread God’s word. They decided to use the style of music that they grew up with to do so. Public Unrest‘s ministry didn’t stop with music. They were also involved in church related ministries such as VBS for the kids and mission trips. They also did what they could to help and support other ministries. They were a band that existed to share the Lord’s gospel and to lift up the name of our Saviour and Master, Jesus Christ.

You can listen to and freely download their songs from their reverbnation page down below.

Be safe, enjoy, and Christ bless you!

thanks for the info Marco. Officer Negative I remember seeing them back in the day when my brother was in a touring Christian punk band. saw a lot of good bands back then like Headnoise, Youth in Submission, Point of Recognition and numerous others

Wow…after all these years an article comes out about Public Unrest. I was the original drummer for this band and I just looked up the band to listen to some old time music…and came across this. Thanks. I may have the master cd of all these songs. I’ll have to look for them.

Those days were pretty cool. I am now 42 and have a pretty big size family who are still pretty involved in a local church. The only band I play with these days is leading our worship team every other Sunday for our church services…nothing fancy. Send me an email so I can reply back with the other 3 songs.
