Before there was Mutemath, there was Earthsuit. Fronted by Paul Meany, Earthsuit was a rather eclectic band, ahead of its time in a number of ways, but unfortunately disbanded in 2003. While “Kaleidoscope Superior” saw commercial release in 2000 and is still beloved by many 25 years later, the band’s followup, “The Rise Of Modern Simulation” was released independently and is a little tougher to come by, except perhaps on YouTube.
Last week, Paul Meany announced the release of the first remastered single off “The Rise Of Modern Simulation” which you can find on digital and streaming services and check out below. This single coincided with the announcement that the harder to find album will see re-issue in January of 2026, making it a little easier to find. Who’s looking forward to this??
