I don’t know why I wrote this, I should have been asleep hours ago. Colony House was consistently solid on my first listen. They manage to take the essence of rock ‘n’ roll and throw a polished and modern spin on it (“Lonely”, “3:20”). Songs like “Cannot Do This Alone” bring Sanctus Real to mind, with the softer/lighter rock anthems. “Louder Than A Lion” was enjoyable, and brought Metric to mind.
