Vision of God Records Signs Two More Bands

Vision of God Records is signing bands like crazy within the last few days! Yesterday, Duane Keith (owner) announced the signing of a band, I’m sure you will all be happy to hear is still around. The label has signed Lament, (yes that Lament) and the reissue of Tears of a Leper and new material will be coming out soon! Today, Duane announced that Dehumanize has joined the label. Death Requisite Working on New Music

Death Requisite, symphonic death metal band from Florida, are working on some new material. Dave Blackmore, the band’s leader and founder, posted a video on their Facebook, discussing new material and merch. Later, the band posted two photos of Johanna Fincher, the band’s unofficial soprano singer, recording some vocals. Dave also mentions merchandise, they some new shirts available and some now limited copies of Prophets of Doom and Second Death. Vision of God Records Signs Prayer

Vision of God Records have a new band on the ever growing roster. The band goes by the name Prayer, not to be confused with the band Orationem, which means prayer in Latin. Prayer is a metal/hardcore band from Brazil. The band formed in June 1999, and have been at it ever since. In 2002, they released a demo, in 2006, an EP called Show Me the Way, and an album in 2009 titled Anatomy of Reality. The band consists of Vinicius on Vocals, Rhods on Guitars, Deivid on Bass and Daniel on Drums.… Continued →

Raging Storm Records Signs BoughtXBlood

The hard rock/indie label known as Raging Storm Records has resurfaced after their hiatus. And they have now signed their first band! BoughtXBlood is a metalcore band from Virginia, and have released an album and an EP, independently. BoughtXBlood are about to play show soon with big names like P.O.D., Alien Ant Farm and Fire From The Gods, if that tells you anything. Check out the posts made by the label and the band below!

Thrice to Tour This Fall and New Music in 2018

Thrice did an interview back in July with OC Weekly about the recent reunion, the tour they’d been on, and new music they are working on. According to the article, the band have been writing new songs on this most recent outing with Rise Against and Deftones. They hope to put out this new new album in summer 2018 which will be the first proper follow up to last year’s incredible record, “To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere”. Ascending King, spirit filled black metal band, released their debut EP today. The EP is titled Funeral of a Species, which came out through Nosral Recordings, the subsidiary of Rottweiler Records. Fire The Sun Working on New Full Length With Paul Miner

I am excited to announce that melodic hardcore/punk band, Fire The Sun, are working on a new full length with Paul Miner again and have already laid down some studio tracks. I’ve heard a few demos (without vocals) and I am stricken with amazement at how this independent band hasn’t gotten the full board exposure they deserve.
