It appears that the much loved FURNACE FEST is BACK! After over a decade away, the festival will return with a huge lineup in September of 2020. This was an enormous festival back in the day that featured some of the most loved and adored bands. Imagine that dream lineup of your favorite bands from the late 90’s and early 00’s and that sums up this fest back in the day. We all find that special album, the initial attraction which binds the listener to a band from the get go. For me, that first album “Homecoming” by Craig’s Brother was just that, an alluring piece of work that had me fascinated from day one. Tooth & Nail released this album in 1998, nearly 21 years ago. It features singers from bands around the globe lending their voice for each track on the release. This is heavy yet melodic, blunt, in your face, and enlightening raw punk. The guys in this band contacted me to share their new music. At first I was a little hesitant probably due to the name itself but then I listened and was instantly blown away. Super pumped to unveil the brand new single from Sacramento, CA. based pop-punk band – Light The Way. This song is titled “HOPE” It is just that, a hopeful reminder of God’s enduring love for us no matter how much we fail or feel defeated, that God will be there with open arms to love us completely.
