Melodic Skate Punk band RELIANCE AZ are back and better than ever with their fiery and explosive, politically charged new anthem “Take Cover”. Cold Streets - Over and Over (New Song + Music Video)
Ok so Small Step Record’s band COLD STREETS just released their brand new song “Over and Over” and it’s one of the best new tracks of 2026! It is so dang catchy, full of soaring melodies and anthemic choruses. It’s just one of those songs you’ll be singing to yourself over and over again (sorry had to do it). Pure 🔥 For context, this is a pop punkish/skate punk inspired track perfect for this incoming spring and summer days and fans of Millencolin, Rise Against, The Starting Line, Over It, MxPx, A Loss for Words, you know, like all the classics, will absolutely fall in love with this band.… Continued →

25 Years of Indie Vision Music: Blood, Sweat, Tears, and Perseverance
25 Years of Indie Vision Music: Blood, Sweat, Tears, and Perseverance
I began this write up back in June of this year and it has taken me more than half the year to finish it. It has been a crazy and chaotic year with everything that has taken place in my personal life. Much of it was good and surprising and some other parts have been well, rather stressful. Now as we approach Christmas I am met with my home in escrow, another home to move into, planning a wedding in April 2026, and the passing of my late grandmother on December 23rd.… Continued →

Grace Graber Unleashes Her Pop-Punk Spirit on an Upbeat New 4 Song Ep
Grace Graber has been grabbing headlines lately with her spirited take on pop-punk and mid 00’s emo tunes that bring a fresh look at nostalgic yearning toward yesteryear. She has a unique take on pop music and a voice built perfect for her guitar centric sound. Mix that up with a spiritually focused and Christ centered lyrical output and any Grace Graber song will be on my radar. The fact that she got the guys in Audiophile to join her on the Hawk Nelson cover of “Everything You Ever Wanted” (hence the EP title), my friends you’ve encountered a future chart topping hit maker at hand.… Continued →
Hope Deferred Smashes Walls and Skulls With Their Debut
A new band that I’m not sure has gotten much coverage by IVM (my apologies) but is entirely worthy of exposure is… HOPE DEFERRED. The band are releasing their debut full length titled “Darkness Remains” next week. The band is comprised with members of Embodyment and The Showdown including Showdown lead vocalist David Bunton who also fronts this new band. Check out their new song “Brethren of Blood”, below! This sounds very much like the heaviest side of Embodyment meets the heaviest of The Showdown.… Continued →

Song of The Day: Relient K - Deathbed
I’ll just come out and say it, “Deathbed” is quite possibly the best “Christian” song that has been written in the past 15 years. That is quite a statement to make and I’ll tell you why. First of all, bands who can create an 11 minute “epic” song with constant peaks and valleys all the while captivating the listener with a heavy dose of heart tugging melodrama, you know they are doing it right. I don’t know what it is and maybe that’s just me being a sentimental, sappy fool, but when I give this track a listen, I am left with a tear(s) streaming down my cheek.… Continued →

Names Without Numbers Channel a Little Tears for Fears
Another example for how 2025 musically just keeps getting better and better. This favorite band of mine NAMES WITHOUT NUMBERS are channeling their inner 80’s child and have covered the classic Tears for Fears staple, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” and have released it on all streaming platforms. It’s a tasteful cover and showcases the band’s unforgettable sound and penchant for tackling heartwarming emotional subject matter mixed with heavy nostalgia to create an unforgettable cover track. Once you’re done giving this track a listen please go back and give all their other recent songs a stream/spin/play.… Continued →
People of Punk Rock Records and Dogwood to Bring "Matt Aragon" to Vinyl for First Time
It appears like People of Punk Rock Records will be dusting off that epic Dogwood punk classic “Matt Aragon” for a whole new generation of to enjoy. The album that brought tears to the eyes with the track “Do or Die” will finally be getting the vinyl treatment. This album has always held a special spot in my heart since it’s first initial release back during a turbulent time in our country’s history of September 2001 when it originally released. All their albums have been tremendous punk rock classics (duh, I’ve bought all of them on vinyl since they got reissued) but this one really cements it’s place on my heart.… Continued →
Nate Parrish Releases New Full Length Album "Make Me A Mountain"
I’ve been following Nate Parrish’s work since he first sent me “I’m a Wreck” randomly through the contact email for my website back in 2020. I’ve been hooked on his sound, music output, and his lyrical genius ever since then. It seems as though his songwriting, musicianship, honesty, and just the lyrics themselves, continue to improve to the point where we are witnessing Nate Parrish in his prime. He is making timeless music that will inspire not only old heads like myself but a whole generation of people seeking hope and answers in the dark, looking for substance in the art they consume.… Continued →

Mikee Bridges has a long personal history of music involvement beyond just the Tom Fest circuit, fronting, singing, playing guitar in bands like Sometime Sunday, Tragedy Ann, Twin Sister, and much more.… Continued →

Nate Parrish Doesn't Sugar Coat The Truth on His Brand New Single, "That's Just Life"
Nate Parrish has gone above and beyond in bringing what I consider to be his absolute finest song by far in the history of Nate Parrish. There’s so much to love about it from the crunchy guitar strumming, snotty punk vocals from the Natester himself, some subtle electronic touches, and the those bold, honest lyrics which really speak truth about the reality of living in this broken world. There’s pain we endure, the love and loss, and depression and disillusionment, the questions left unanswered coupled with the hope we find in biblical truth and what we’re all searching for, is nothing short of mesmerizing.… Continued →
