Recently on Twitter, Joshua Porter not only announced that he is in a new band called Church of Agony, but that they have already released a short Christmas EP entitled O Come, All Ye Faithful. The EP includes new wave renditions of the following Christmas classics: “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “O Holy Night,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” You can stream it or download it for $3 on Bandcamp; you can also follow them on Twitter.

He’s an interesting chap, both in terms of the thought behind his artistic expression and the aesthetics themselves. Without him, I probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon Greg Boyd, which I’m glad I did. I still need to get on listening to “Showbread is Showdead,” but “No Sir…” still remains to be an amazing album to me.
God. I love Josh. Have you guys ever just sat looking at pictures of him, and just wishing he was your friend… heres to hoping…
