Impending Interview with Jason Wisdom (Death Therapy, ex Becoming The Archetype)

By in News | 5 Comments

Hi, I’m Seth Andrew Hecox and I am conducting a 4+ part interview with Jason Marshall Wisdom right now.

Part 3 will post exclusively to IVM and that part of the interview is where you come in.

Send me questions, ideas and conundrums that you want to ask Jason. For instance, if you’ve ever wanted to know if he’s farted so strongly that he blew a hole in his boxers, this is the time to find your answer!

I would be interested in knowing if he would ever do another BTA album/show, if he’d talk to Alex Kenis and see if they’d do another Solamors album. That and will Death Therapy stay a solo venture or add on the drummer as an official member. And the last one I have is, that in the first interview on As The Story Grows, he mentioned two other Bassists before him and another vocalist. I would love to know who those guys were.

Hey Seth!

A year or two ago, I noticed that there were references to Stephen King’s ‘Dark Tower’ series on BTA’s album ‘Celestial Completion’. I would be interested in knowing what some of his favorite fiction is–and yours, too, for that matter 😉

I’d also like to second Mason’s question about further collaborations with Alex Kenis, such as a second Solamors album.

I’d like to know what draws him to continue performing Christian music as a vocation/hobby? What’s the most rewarding part spiritually? What makes it most enjoyable and how Jason knows he’s called to it. That’s a pretty significant call to follow, especially in the extreme metal world. He could obviously have quit on it, like many did. I’m interested to hear why he’s continued to pursue and the reward he feels from it. Thanks Seth! BTA is still one of my absolute favorites! I hope in some way you can stick to it as well, though you go where you’re… Read more »

I would like to know how he got into heavy Christian music. Was it in the back of a Family Christian Store or online or through a friend?

Thanks for the comments, guys. I’d been reading them and realized I should probably comment so you know I’ve read them. I think I can get to most of this in Part 3 of our interview.

Thanks again!
