Song of the Day: Rock Solid - Searchin'

This rarity band appears to have come from Ohio. I have not found much on the, but on the Christian Tape Underground site. This SOTD comes from a HM Magazine compilation. I know they also have a song called I Cried. Their music is of the hard rock genre & have been compared to Saint & Messiah Prophet. And  this post is dedicated to my stepdaughter Alissa who is having a birthday today! Song of the Day: The Kreepdowns: Spiritual Beast vs The Saints

Crazy, but this SOTD was literally in my queue for y’all without knowing that Loyd had posted recently on Acoustic Shack! Anyways, I uploaded the album to Youtube as for some reason wasn’t up. Great album with the highlights being Spiritual Beast, Go Now, Cello, Select & Not Like That. The Saints comes from a Bettie  Rocket comp. To me they sounded like a more modern grunge than Nirvana akin to Smashing Pumpkins. Song of the Day: Superstar - The Brightest Star

Here is another Christian rock rarity. Do you remember Rustproof Records which put out great releases from Broomtree & Polarboy. Well, this band had a song called This Confusion included on a compilation from the label. Unsure on much else from the band because there isn’t much information on the www. As the discogs site doesn’t list the band beyond the comp, my best guess is the cd was released independently.  Here is a track listing from the cd though.  https://www.cylist.com/List/406381538/superstar-broken-record-cd-track-listing

Song of the Day: Terminal Generation - Body Bag vs Suck You Down

So here is another rarity band that I have pulled from the archives. The Terminal Generation considered themselves the world’s scariest band. Based out of California, they melded distorted guitars & vocals. Most would know them if they followed 90s Christian industrial movement when R.E.X. records released an industrial compilation called Electro Shock Therapy in 1995, but they actually got their start in LA in 1989.
