Not only are there some new songs but also new acoustic versions of classic (and newer) Too Bad Eugene tracks. These are all available via Bandcamp here and also on your favorite digital networks! Shepherd Bridge Release "Daylight"

Shepherd Bridge is a project I found last year sometime through Instagram while browsing and it just struck me, the music and message that is. They just released a brand new song today titled “Daylight”. Like the first single “Armor” which dropped late last year, the music takes you on a ride with its driving guitars, raw but soaring vocals that crescendo all at once with a steady blast of melody and unfiltered emotion. Give this track and “Armor” a listen today. New single can be found below or on your favorite digital networks.… Continued →

Michael W. Smith - Arms Around The Sun (Official Music Video)

Michael W. Smith is back with a brand new song and music video for “Arms Around The Sun”. It’s a lively, 80’s synth drenched, classic sound but filled with a modern touch and Michael W. Smith’s unmistakable voice. The lyrics are fire and this is probably my favorite thing by him in years. It really reminds me of his songs at the height of the 80’s/early 90’s sound he had going. I didn’t expect this in 2025 but I’m so glad to hear it. Check out the music video below and listen to the song on all your favorite digital networks now!… Continued →

NF Launches Controversial Surprise Collab With T-Pain

***April Fool’s Joke*** I’ll be the first to confess that I’ve never been the biggest NF fan. I’m very particular about what types of hip-hop songs I actually enjoy, and while I’ve seen friends jump on the bandwagon, I’ve never totally been sold on his songwriting. Then, there’s the matter of how overt he is about his faith in his lyrics – there’s no question that so-called Christian hip-hop has also become just another casualty of artists abandoning their faith entirely. Of course, this brings us to today’s topic.… Continued →

American Arson Leave The U.S. and Rebrand as "European Arson"

***April Fool’s Joke*** A rather odd news story to report on but one of the utmost importance. At first it emerged as just another rumor but now has been verified through management. A much loved Facedown Records band and all around IVM favorite – American Arson, has made the jump to Europe to an undisclosed country and have renamed themselves as “European Arson“. It can be taken as a direct tribute to their new home or a firebrand sort of activism that just might get them sent back home.… Continued →

Anberlin have released a series of video clips over on their Instagram/Facebook pages with what sounds like new versions of songs off “Never Take Friendship Personal” and a date of 3/21. So either we are getting a re-recording of Paperthin Hymn with Matty on Friday or a whole album re-recording is dropping that same date.… Continued →

Hopeful. Drop New Song "Fractured Soul"

Hopeful. have just dropped their latest new song and it is titled “Fractured Soul”. All this new music including their latest single, further proves the power that rests in independent music making and the intersection between Faith and living told through music format. The band had this to say about the song, “To everyone who has ever struggled with affliction, addiction, doubt, anxiety, depression or anything in that category. You aren’t alone! Let this lyric sink in: “It’s time to listen to that voice inside your heart.Continued →

The Myriad - Something's In The Water (New Song & Music Video)

Is The Myriad not the absolute best rock act with new music out there right now? Sometimes these older bands reunite only to put out music that isn’t as endearing, fresh, or honoring the past while embracing the future but The Myriad does all of the above and more. Their music is refreshing and cathartic. I can’t help but feel enthralled by each and every “new” song they release and have released over the past year or so. This new track “Something’s In The Water” is nothing short of extraordinary.… Continued →

Gypsy & Me - Ain't Done With You Yet (Official Music Video)

The insanely talented new Americana/Folk/Rebel Country duo known as Gypsy & Me, just dropped their beautiful new music video for the song “Ain’t Done With You Yet” off their most recent album, “Know Hope”. The song itself is a heart stirring collection of words and melodies that will captivate just about anyone who listens and turn your tears of sorrow into that of happiness and delight. Their new album has really captivated me to be honest. It’s one of my top favorites going into 2025 so far and I can’t wait to hear what else this group comes up with this year and beyond.… Continued →
