Drown the Planet have released a new EP titled, “The Blessed///The Cursed”. The release has a real metalcore sound to most of it, with a industrial/hard rock/nu metal sound in spots as well. Drown the Planet is the band/project of Jason Wayne. While I’m unfamiliar with any other musical ventures of his, Drown the Planet is really something. There’s a fair mixture of genres I really enjoy to be found across his material on Spotify, from metalcore, to hard rock, to even some emo-ish stuff in there.
