REVIEW : World Gone Cold - World Gone Cold EP

Last October, Rockfest Records announced a new band on their roster, but not just any band. World Gone Cold is a hard rock band known as a “supergroup”. In case you’re unfamiliar with the term, this indicates that the group is comprised of artists from other well-known bands. The group is rounded out like this: Ryland Raus (vocals) of Inhale Exhale and Attack, AttackTraa Daniels (bass) of P.O.D.Tim “Yogi” Watts (drums) of Demon HunterMark Anthony (guitar) of The Letter BlackAndrew Stanton (guitar) of Disciple Nice, right??… Continued →

Blindside Silence Gets Vinyl Treatment and We Dropped the Ball

In other sad news today, I must report that we are so incredibly late in posting news about the Blindside “Silence” vinyl that the band posted about a couple weeks back and it looks like the only option left is black vinyl. It’ll sound amazing regardless but the other colors are also killer. I’m very rude because I must admit I took part in splurging on this when it went up and unfortunately I lost complete track of time with the IVM news cycle. I’m sorry friends.… Continued →

P.O.D. Are Re-Releasing "When Angels & Serpents Dance" With Bonus Tracks

After 14 years, “When Angels & Serpents Dance” is finally getting the release treatment it should have always gotten. This is a favorite P.O.D. album of mine next to their other big hits like Fundamental, Satellite, Testify, etc. This album had a very commercial sound and had that “hit” potential but for whatever reason, disappeared to the piles of thrift store dust bins. On October 14th 2022, Mascot Label Group will re-release the P.O.D. album newly remixed, remastered, and with 3 bonus tracks not on the original album.… Continued →

REVIEW : Review: P.O.D. - Circles

P.O.D. has long been a favorite of mine, and likely the first Christian band I ever listened to. Their successes have made them a staple among hard rock fans in both Christian and secular markets, and despite a less popular album here or there, or even less interest in the hard rock genre in general, the band’s fanbase have continued to remain loyal to the band, a fact easily evidenced by the band’s live shows and the online response to all the latest news, especially where new music is concerned.… Continued →

New P.O.D. Track, "Circles"

P.O.D. is dropping a new album November 16, titled “Circles”. So far they’ve released “Rockin’ With the Best”, which was met with mixed reviews and just today they’ve dropped the title track to the album, “Circles”. It’s an interesting track that’s a fair variation from the sound we’ve come to know them for in times past, but we wanna know what YOU think. Hit the video below to check it out and then leave some comments with your thoughts.… Continued →

P.O.D. - Rockin' With The Best Music Video + Pre-Orders

P.O.D. have just dropped the music video for their new fun party anthem “Rockin’ With The Best” and you can check it out below. The song runs between classic hits like “Rock The Party (Off The Hook)” and “Boom”. Just a fun little track meant to amp you up and I’m sure there is more serious content to be found on the full record just the rest of their vast catalog. If you dig P.O.D. and want to pre-order the new album “Circles”, click here for different options including vinyl.… Continued →

What Is the Bestselling Christian Album of All Time?

So, what is the bestselling Christian album of all-time? To answer that question we must first set some parameters for just what qualifies as a “Christian” album. Since the question at hand concerns album sales, I suggest we define a Christian album as any album which was marketed to a Christian audience. Therefore, I will consider albums which either charted on Billboard as Christian or featured songs which charted on Christian radio. With that out of the way, what is the bestselling Christian album of all-time?… Continued →

Islander - Better Day

Islander has some cool songs. They are also known for having an interesting stage presence, what with JR Bareis and his costumes. Well for Islander’s new video for their song “Better Day”, it seems to be Vocalist Mikey Carvajal this time, with his cheetah print sleeves. But not to make that the point of this, the song is very uplifting and pleasant. It reminds me personally of some P.O.D.’s more uplifting songs. Check out this great band and their album Power Under Control that came out last year via Victory Records.… Continued →
