Names Without Numbers - New Song "Florida" Coming Soon

Names Without Numbers are back in a big way on January 13th. Their new song “Florida” will drop on that date and we have a little teaser to offer all of you. This is without a doubt the band’s strongest song to date and further reminds me of just how good they are, not just in regards to indie music but rock n roll as a whole. There is a lot of content floating around out there passing off as legitimate music but really lacks the meat and substance.… Continued →

Introducing: Strange Her

The guys in this band contacted me to share their new music. At first I was a little hesitant probably due to the name itself but then I listened and was instantly blown away. Strange Her are an explosive indie rock band that would please fans of As Cities Burn, House of Heroes, Emery, The Classic Crime, Anberlin and maybe even a little Silversun Pickups and Funeral for a Friend. Good stuff and uplifting. Songs of substance. Their new album “A Marginal Sea” is out soon and you can check out the new music video for the song “The Scarlet Cord”, below.… Continued →

REVIEW : Emery - Eve

(Actual album cover in review. Edited Cover provided by our friends at JesusFreakHideout ) The southern emo/screamo/rock/alternative/however you decide to classify them boys have returned after three years from their last full length release. You’ve read the controversy, you’ve seen it, and so what is there to say about this album? Well, a lot. “Is This The Real Life” sets the general tone of Eve; and that is mellow and thoughtful. The lyrics of the song at first seem to be rather ambiguous in form of stream-thought.… Continued →

Emery Return With New Album and Songs, Drop Controversial New Album Cover

Regardless of the direction they are taking their band from here on out, you can hear their two newest songs below and debate what you think musically of their latest tunes.… Continued →

Emery "Be A Part of Our New Bus" Campaign + Live Album

Emery have had their fair share of problems recently with tour vehicles breaking down but the band keeps pressing on like the solid road warriors they are. The band bought a really old bus and are currently in the process of renovating it. As you can see from the LIVE video they filmed yesterday, they still have quite a ways to go (no AC, and in the heat of West Coast). So this is where we call come in. The band has launched a little campaign via their website here where you can get an exclusive 17 track LIVE album for $25.… Continued →

Never alone

REVIEW : Emery - You Were Never Alone

While there will always be those people who refuse to move on with Emery and hang on to their more vintage stylings, I believe that “You Were Never Alone” is the most robust and fully rounded album the band have offered to date

REVIEW : Abandon Kansas - Alligator

Abandon Kansas are back with their second full length album, 'Alligator' on Bad Christian Music. 'Alligator' offers a sundry cornucopia of lush musicianship and emotions. I think there’s truly something for everyone and every mood on this record.

REVIEW : Emery - ...In Shallow Seas We Sail

I bolded many, many words in this review, especially the word Emery, which was put in bold letters very often, so if you can forgive that, then please read this early review of their upcoming release
