Broken Flesh adds on former Obliteration/Death List Guitarist

Broken Flesh has decided to add on Death List and Obliteration Guitarist Bryan Nikkel as a new Bassist. The band went through some lineup struggles last year, with the departure of brother Jacob and Josh Mathes, the band’s vocalist and bassist, and Guitarist Dakota Whiteside. The band would then add on Bassist Kyle Fitzgerald. The band would announce that Kyle was departing from the band due to family reasons. Abated Mass of Flesh release "Lacerated" and "Sands of Time"

The brutal deathcore band Abated Mass of Flesh has released two releases in a week’s time! On April 6, the band announced a twenty song compilation, known as Sands of Time, containing everything from the very beginning all the way to the current material. On April 12, the band announced the release of Lacerated, their sophomore 8 track album. The album is available on Spotify, Itunes, Amazon, and is available for FREE on Bandcamp. Introducing: Flayed Alive

The band, Abated Mass of Flesh has had several side projects, everything from raw atmospheric black metal bands like Cryptic Rising or awesome deathcore bands like Parallax Withering. Flayed Alive is probably the most like AMOF. The project is a new band from Zack Plunkett, the brainchild of AMOF. They have a new EP, for those interested in brutal death metal/grindcore bands like this one. The EP is called Repulsive Manifestation and is available for free here.

REVIEW : Taking the Head of Goliath - Beyond Brutal Live

How many live EPs do you have? Cause you’ll want this one. Undead Metal (for those who don’t know what that means, it’s my play on Christian death metal) band, Taking the Head of Goliath has released a great live recording of their first show; the first show of one band and one of the last for the band For Today. “The Expulsion of Putrid Illusion” reminded me of Abated Mass of Flesh, with brutal-ness of the guitars, the speed of the drums and the guttural vocals.… Continued →

Abated Mass of Flesh releases "Shadowed By Light"

The Christian slamming brutal deathcore band (yes it’s a thing) Abated Mass of Flesh has released their second single for their album Lacerated. The band started in 2011 as a solo project of Zach Plunkett’s (Lead Guitar), until 2012, when he hired his brother Matt for Vocals and Logan Hayworth (Strengthen What Remains) on Bass. The three hired Kade Dodson (ex-Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza) for drums and they recorded an album and EP. Dodson and Hayworth departed and were replaced by Max Tubville and Riley Wingate, with an addition of Thomas Wingate on Rhythm Guitar.… Continued →

Abated Mass of Flesh release first single "Infectious Womb"

The Christian slamming brutal deathcore band (what a genre name, let’s stick with UnDead Metal) band Abated Mass of Flesh has released the first single off of their upcoming sophomore album, Lacerated. The song is titled “Infectious Womb”. The band started in 2011 as a project of Guitarist Zach Plunkett, but became a full band the next year, when Plunkett hired on his brother Matt (Vocals) and friend, Logan Hayworth (Bass).
