The Last Bison is set to release their forthcoming album SÜDA on September 21 via AntiFragile Music. They’ve released two singles to date and if you’ve been a fan for a while, you may be surprised by a large sonic shift toward an electronic pop style with a strong focus on South American rhythms. Due to member changes, the band has lost much of its distinctive chamber-pop core, but this reinvention in sound is certain to draw in new fans as well. Of course, there are still hints of the classic elements fans have come to love – but it may take a bit to adjust to this new direction.
