I think we’re all beginning to wonder whether or not Switchfoot grasps the concept of a hiatus. The band announced their hiatus at the end of 2017 but that hasn’t stopped them from playing a few shows and teasing a metal version of their classic “Meant to Live”. Now they’ve taken a break from their hiatus to write a song for the upcoming movie Unbroken: Path to Redemption. If that title looks a little familiar it’s because it’s a sequel to the 2014 movie Unbroken about US Olympian and army officer Louie Zamperini.
