After a little over two decades apart, the original members of Slick Shoes have reunited and put their talents to work on new music. That’s right friends, original members including early shredder (guitarist) Jackson are back with a new song and have posted it up on their bandcamp page. Righteous! In this day and age, I think they could crowdfund something pretty solid. I enjoyed Greg on guitar back in the day, as well. Be cool if they could somehow involve him.

I’m not as much of a fan of pop punk as I was in high school, but hearing a new Slick Shoes song brought back a smile. I’m happy that they’re making new music.
Unfortunately the song is a huge letdown in my opinion. Just seemed really mediocre especially for all the talent they have. Sometimes it’s just hard to ever make something as good as the past.
