It’s been a quiet handful of years for the metalcore group MyChildren MyBride. They’re last release is nearly 5 years old but thankfully, they’re not finished.
They announced on their Facebook page there is new MCMB music on the way for 2017. Another interesting bit is the picture they posted containing only 2 members.
MCMB has become a staple in the Christian metal scene over the last decade with the likes of Haste The Day, Oh Sleeper, and Demon Hunter. Their straightforward lyrics center around family, faith, and a topic they attack plainly – demonic oppression. It’s their aggressiveness and the hope in their lyrics that have set them with a large fan base and new music is a great start to 2017.
MCMB’s albums tend to have a song or two I enjoy mired in with an album full of songs I can’t get into. I’ll wait to hear a track from this new album before I get excited
I’ve been a fan since lost boy. I agree with what you said about their first album, but since then I’m a big fan of all their stuff. Their last album was fantastic, a lot hit home.
