Facedown Records Announces Facedown Fest 2017 Lineup

By in Articles, News | 23 Comments

Facedown Records has just announced the lineup for Facedown Fest 2017. The festival has hosted many bands that were signed to other labels or the subsidiary Strike First Records, including Clear Convictions (Strike First), Comrades (ex-Blood and Ink), Bloody Sunday (Strike First) and several others. This year is the 20th anniversary of the label so they have had many of their prominent acts come join in or even reunite. The label is also hosting the Fest for 3 days, which is very abnormal as it is usually a one day event. On day one, they are having several former and current acts perform. They even got Bloodlined Calligraphy to reunite and Nothing Left (ex-For Today) to join. Day two shows the reunions off Sinai Beach, xLooking Forwardx, and In the Midst of Lions. The final day, day 3, features the reunions of the beloved A Plea for Purging, Nodes of Ranvier, Hands, and the Christian hardcore pioneers Overcome. The show will be hosted at the Glasshouse in Pomona, California. The only band that seems to be missing from the list is No Innocent Victim, founder Jason Dunn’s former band. Tickets available on February 1st, but will be sold here.

Man, what a festival! So many class acts that it isn’t even funny. Would absolutely love to be at the Saturday night, especially for Hands.

Was very much trying to get a two birds in one stone trip and go see Dave Quiggle / Go to FD fest…. That Plea reunion makes me want to do it.

My wife and I might be in California for our anniversary, if so, I’m hoping we can make it for at least one day.

I guess its better than nothing, but he was no Ally. He was fun when he was filling in during I want to say during the last SIP shows. Can’t remember what time that was.
