Symphony in Peril Return With "Authored Confusion"

“Heavy” is tossed around casually these days and often times in contradicting nature. When not used correctly in reference to music that will pummel the flesh right off your skull, you will need turn your head and stand in the corner shamed and alone. That sounds drastic, ouch! A band that has kind of been forgotten in the years following their break up called Symphony in Peril are back and better than ever, but make sure you insert “heavy” into the description. The song is titled “Authored Confusion” and can be streamed below and purchased on Bandcamp here.… Continued →

Names Without Numbers "Florida" Coming Soon

Names Without Numbers will return very soon with yet another incredible and a “built for radio” sound that they’ve become world renown for. I can’t promise it’ll sound exactly like that but I’m just going off past experiences and knowing this band actually has talent and experience to back up the hype. If I were to guess I’d say this will be absolute perfection, like if I had to guess and all. If you want to buy some Merch from the band direct then click here for their personally run store.… Continued →

Five Iron Frenzy - When They Find You (Feat. Mike Herrera of MxPx)

In honor of Five Iron Frenzy day, the band drops hard hitting new song – “When They Find You”. The song features backing vocals from Mike Herrera of long running left coast punk act, MxPx. Listening to this song first time through I made up assumptions and drew targets to throw foam darts at in the hopes making my confusion stick somehow. I read through some comments on different social media sites, scratching my head reading some of the responses then instantly connected with the lyrics Reese Roper posted in the comments of the FIF page (Facebook).… Continued →

Nate Parrish - Attention Junkies (Official Lyric Video)

Nate Parrish is the kind of artist you can’t just listen to once. In fact, you’ll be addicted upon that first listen, being drawn into that raw, yet melodic punk rock spirit Nate Parrish is keeping alive through his passions and talent. There is certainly nothing boring or bland about this music. The music he makes straddles the line between raw punk rock authenticity and a commercial sound worthy of repeated listens on radio/tv/media. Taylor Swift’s jaw drops when Nate Parrish picks up his guitar and begins singing.… Continued →

Gametime Drop "Just Start" Today

Gametime just released their brand new song titled “Just Start” and it reminds me of all the best parts of Pop-Punk without sounding cheesy, derivative, and bland. The song features Peter Munters formerly of Over It and Runner Runner. These guys are super talented. Check out “Just Start” below, right here at Indie Vision Music. The song is available through all digital networks, now. [Sorry for the dated Gametime photo, its all that is floating around till the most current version takes a new pic]

A brand new pop-punk/emo group by the name of ALANDRIA drops debut song titled “Hollow”. For a “first song”, this is extremely impressive. Do I Smell a Ghoti Hook Reunion?

There are rumblings in the Ghoti Hook camp that could spell something new from the band which would be their first “official” reunion of the band members since 2002. A rather cryptic post dropped on their Facebook page here a couple days ago which has left people guessing. Check out the post and picture below to see if you can figure it out. No, I do not have any insider info on this one so I am right in line with the rest of you. Continued →

The Young Escape Bring on the Nostalgia With New Song "Turning My Heart"

[Lyric Video below] This really great young new group called THE YOUNG ESCAPE, has been drawing more attention online lately and through strong word of mouth which has led to their recent signing with BEC Recordings and a brand new song called “Turning My Heart”. Upon first listen to this wonderfully made new indie-pop-rock song, you are transported out of your musically lackluster and boring, bland same old song existence. There is a certain familiarity here and they wouldn’t be without praise from radio/media but something about this song strikes me as fresh.… Continued →

Next In Line to Possibly Reunite?

Nothing like a good news story to sorta, kinda, maybe drop a hint that a former Indie Vision Music band “might” get back together and “might” celebrate 20 years of “Traffic” next year. There has to be some interest out there so let your voices be heard loud and clear. Do you want to see ALL of their pre-Indie Vision Music, 2003 Indie Vision Music, post-Indie Vision Music, and all the fun unreleased stuff in between, finally get posted up on digital networks? There have been a lot of songs here and there that dropped on the Indie Vision Music website over the years dating back 2005 when the store/label morphed into a webzine.… Continued →

Must Build a Jacuzzi in Winter to Like, Stay Warm and Stuff

I have it on good authority that they Must Build a Jacuzzi! You know, like an actual ska-core band that doesn’t suck, makes super duper fun tunes, has fun doing what they do and oh yeah….they ARE – MUST BUILD JACUZZI, and they WILL return in 2023 with NEW music. Or so I’m told, or kinda guessed? Go stream the heck out of their old catalog and get ready for some horn bangin’ action! Wait, that came out wrong I think. Well, enjoy the rest of your day and there is nothing to see here, move along….… Continued →

SHORTHANDED Have Returned

Another awesome blast from the past punk rock band called – Shorthanded, have returned and will grace our ears with their musical presence very soon. The band have been recording new stuff at The Blasting Room in Colorado and the songs will be available in the coming months. Members of Crux and Shorthanded intermingled back in the 1990s and each did their own thing with great love and admiration. Craig's Brother - The Sacrifice (New Song)

Craig’s Brother released their fantastic new album titled “Easily Won, Rarely Deserved” just last week and it is already reaching countless numbers of punk rock fans the world over and garnering very favorable reviews. I enjoy so many of the songs off the new album and find it extremely difficult to skip any of them. This is just one of the many good ones that appear on this latest full length album. It has a deep, profound emotional connection and Ted’s lyrics show a side many other bands struggle to put forth in their own songs.… Continued →

Idle Achiever Return From Hiatus With "Oxygenate"

Idle Achiever are once again back at it and “Oxygenate” certainly doesn’t disappoint. Their music defies genre classification and they really are playing in a league of their own but not so different from any likeable band you’d hear thrust in front of you. If you enjoy rap mixed with some indie pop and even synth emo, then you’ll love this new one. It’s like righteous explosion from the joining of Twenty One Pilots, Owl City, Eminem, Gym Class Heroes, Manafest, NF, and For King & Country.… Continued →

Heavy, old school hardcore punk band named Dispraised are back with a double album release on one 12″ Vinyl Records through new label upstart – Coleiosis Records. Orion Walsh Delivers "Home to You"

Orion Wash who is a prolific singer-songwriter that has been pushing his delightful “solo” work for nearly 2 decades ever since the demise of the beloved emo/indie band – Slow Coming Day. While Slow Coming Day gears up for some reunion gigs in celebration of the 20th anniversary of “Farewell to the Familiar” which released on Tooth & Nail Records all the back in 2003, Orion is smack dab back in what he is admired for, as a creator of music that defies genre classifications.… Continued →

Flyleaf Announce Reunion With Lacey Sturm

Sorry for my absence. You know, life. This is a couple days late but certainly worth talking about. The beloved alt-rock-metal band – Flyleaf, have indeed reunited with their acclaimed first singer and lead woman, Lacey Sturm. Since Lacey and the band parted ways like a decade ago, both parties went on to make new music and continue their careers. Lacey Sturm has come out as a very successful and talented solo artist but not in the acoustic-y, “fall asleep while driving” realm. Her music was as heavy as it was a lighter and more spiritual affair.… Continued →

Craig's Brother Release New Song "Rodeo Clown"

Craig’s Brother release yet another new song off their upcoming album which drops November 11th. The song is titled “Rodeo Clown” and is a passionate ballad of sorts, similar to a couple tracks off the classic album “Lost at Sea” and “The Aaronic Blessing (Peace on Earth)” from The Insidious Lie. This is a powerful song, one that builds on emotion and connects on a very real human level. It is classic Craig’s Brother and yet modern enough to take them out of 90’s era.… Continued →

Allen Odell Releases "Full Hearts, Empty Places"

I think we missed posting about this new full length from Allen Odell, a month ago. Allen creates some really mellow, chill, spiritually relevant post-emo and indie music that inspires. It’s one of those albums that draws you in with subtlety and puts you on a journey of discovery and heaven gazing self-reflection. This isn’t some sort of fists in the air, aggressive rock anthem worthy music to cause a ruckus. It is simply just good, deep music that will leave you haunted by soft spoken melodies.… Continued →

Attack! / Inhale Exhale, Traa Daniels of P.O.D., Andrew Stanton of Disciple, Yogi Watts of Demon Hunter, and Mark Anthony of The Letter Black. The band is called WORLD GONE COLD, and they have just signed with Rockfest Records who will be responsible for releasing their upcoming album. No song released just yet but it is coming VERY soon.
