When Only Darkness Remains will hit the studio on January 23rd to record their first official album. This band appeared on one of our free digital compilations (which one I can’t remember). Definitely be on the lookout for these guys in 2009.

I am going to try and go but it’s on a Monday night so I dont know. It’s true my friends, The Crucified have officially reunited. The band will re-release all their classic albums plus B-sides in a box set due out early next year on Tooth & Nail Records, celebrating the band’s 25 year anniversary. The box set will consist of three discs spanning all their recorded material plus bsides and demos as well as a dvd portion. Click “read more” for links to the band and story. Mark Saloman will be a busy man in 2009 with a new Stavesacre ep, Crucified box set, and Neon Horse album. So awesome!

The Distance Between are almost finished recording their new ep. The vocals are done and now only back up harmonies and mixing/mastering/pressing remain till it’s done. This will be unlike anything you’ve ever heard from this group seeing as how they have a new singer. Get excited because this is going to rule!

Gwen Stacy has replaced their vocalist with none other than Once Nothing guitarist Geoff Jenkins. Geoff apparently has done vocals prior to his time spent in Once Nothing and has been looking for a new vocal oppurtunity. Interesting choice.
