Skillet has posted up a video explaining to fans why they don’t always sign autographs after shows and trying to explain a situation that happened recently at their show in Tulsa where Police told fans that Skillet wouldn’t come out until they left.

Unfortunately I had to remove a few Digital Downloads from our server to conserve space. We are maxing out in bandwidth again. So that means I took down Fighting From the Ground Up Vol. 1, Summer Slam Vol. 1, Dismissed, Pennylane, and Next in Line downloads. Most of our readers already downloaded those albums but if you didn’t, I guess you’re out of luck Summer Slam Vol. 2 will remain posted as will the Quick and the Dead FREE Album and a few other songs. Thanks to all of you that have downloaded those albums/songs over the past 6 months!

I haven’t heard anything from these guys in a while, but I urge you all to check out Future of Forestry. My favorite songs of theirs are “Twilight”, ”All I Want”, and ”Open Wide”. Too bad, but I have no clue if they are still going or are broken up.

On their myspace, Gasoline Heart is listed as being signed by a label called P Is for Panda, which is apparently a t-shirt company/record label with an imprint through Hopeless Records/Sub City. Oh, and it’s founded by Chad Pearson, formerly of The Militia Group.

Maylene and the Sons of Disaster are doing a video shoot at their September 18th show at the Bottletree Café in Birmingham, Alabama.  The video shoot will be produced by Hurley Entertainment. The first 100 people in the door get a special one-of-a-kind Hurley/Maylene T-Shirt.

Maylene also has two tracks off of their latest album II (Raised By The Tide and Death Is An Alchoholic) for free download on their myspace site.

I believe in Jesus, and Jesus didn’t shun anybody. He went to bars and hung out with the most hated people. And people would ask him, “Why are you even hanging out with these people?” And he had one of the most awesome answers ever, which was “A healed person doesn’t need a doctor.” That’s so cool. Nobody’s healed, you know?”

I am looking for talented bands that would like to be a part of our next FREE Sampler we’ll be offering as a download on this site. The title of the sampler is “Hearts Bleed Passion Vol. 4” and there will be quite a few bands on it. Our last two samplers were downloaded close to 3000 times each! Copeland has created quite the buzz in promoting its new album through different sites that it created (http://abso1utepunk.net/, http://worldwithouthope.org/, http://www.runrightbacktothestart.com/, http://www.citizensfourourbetterment.com/) namely because it seemed to piggy back on the buzz that Fall Out Boy has been trying to create for it’s new album that also comes out this fall.  It now seems like noone can quite figure out which buzz is for which album and has become a tangled web of viral marketing.  You can read more about it here in this MTV article.
