    Focused “2000 Ep” FREE Download

Focused first formed as a band in 1990 releasing several demos before eventually signing to new label Tooth and Nail Records in 1993 and releasing their groundbreaking effort “Bow” to thousands of fans worldwide. The band singlehandedly coined the term Spirit Filled Hardcore. The band broke up in 1996 but reformed in early 2000 with several key members from the early lineup. This lineup went into the studio and recorded a 3 song demo ep that I suppose was for label shopping or giving out at shows. Anyway, it used to be on our site but disappeared through various design changes. Well I am posting it back up but this time in the form of a zip file. So you get all three songs in one nice little zip file. Focused R.I.P

Pennylane and Indie Vision Music have decided jointly to release their 2004 ep for FREE to all of you fans that didn’t get the cd the first time around. The album is now out of print and no longer available. Rather than keep this music locked up in a dusty room like other labels, I would rather you the fans keep it. It’s a great way to spread the music of Pennylane around the world and gain a few more fans for this talented band.  Enjoy this album and pass it on to your friends. The band went on hiatus in 2007 and there is no word on if they’ll regroup. Check out Pennylane and what their former members are now up to below:

    3. Josiah “Todd P. Hepler”

This ep was released independently by the band Josiah in late 2003. The band just mailed out a bunch to different labels and I happened to be one of them. As soon as I heard the demo and read up on what these guys were about, I was all over this band. They played a fierce version of Spirit Filled Hardcore that set this band apart from the rest of the pack (at the time). This ep was produced by the great Tim Bushong. Music by Josiah and lyrics by their first vocalist, Joshua Lee. These same 4 songs were re-recorded in early 2004 and released as the album “Verona” which was released by Indie Vision Music in 2004. To read the lyrics, just head on over to our webstore and pick up “Verona” up for $1.00. Click Here to Purchase.
