MP3 Tags for Our Compilations?

I have a question for all of you. Somebody contacted me saying that the tags for a previous compilation were all screwed up and it bothered him enough to tell me. My question is this, did The Best of IVM have the tags all correct? I edit the tags in Windows XP computer by going to the advanced option and retagging them. The only thing I left out of The Best of IVM was a correct track number. Besides that, they all had the correct song and album title. Let me know if these compilations aren’t working for you. With Itunes they work fine for me but I dont know about other programs. If there is something I can do to make “A Very Indie Christmas” work correctly, then let me know. Thanks everyone!

    I think they`ve mostly worked well for me but I pretty much solely use iTunes so I`m not sure about the other programs. It sounds like what you`ve been doing for the tracks should be sufficiant. Maybe embedding the album art on the tracks would be the only other thing though its fine if you don`t. It`s not that hard to add it ourselves.

    I used to use ID3-TagIT when I used windows. I think it does album art.
