I can’t wait for this since they are one of my favorite bands. Can’t say I love the album art though. I suppose it fits since it looks like a Texas style belt buckle or something. O_o

their new single 3-2-1 will hit the radio on September 12th.

    3. nodes | September 5th, 2008 | 9:42 am

just another band to hop on this southern bandwagon…

    4. bloodwater | September 5th, 2008 | 10:19 am

I thought they’d already been on it…for awhile.

    5. John Wayne | September 5th, 2008 | 10:27 am

the cover is ugh-lee. Sorry, just can’t be positive ’bout that.

    6. thirdsaint | September 5th, 2008 | 1:20 pm

It’s definitely way too busy. And I don’t think they’ve ever done the southern rock thing. At least nothing to the level of DecembeRadio or Maylene. Of which I’m kinda expecting this to be a hybrid of the two leaning more towards Maylene in terms of heaviness.

    7. J.J. | September 5th, 2008 | 1:40 pm

Oh, they’ve always been more or less southern. They just haven’t blatantly capitalized on that fact before.

    8. LenIVM | September 5th, 2008 | 2:25 pm

They’ve always had a southern reference to some of their songs.

They happen to release a CD called Southern Hospitality.

New phrase? No, very old…. older then the “southern fad” of the last few years.

So to “hop onto that bandwagon”…. would mean that they would’ve had to have fallen off of it first.

    9. LenIVM | September 5th, 2008 | 2:26 pm

      Before that fad happened.

    10. blair | September 6th, 2008 | 1:36 pm

I like Disciple. Then I will go and listen to War Of Ages!

    11. Manuel | September 6th, 2008 | 5:20 pm

Nah, I think this cover is awesome. I just don’t really care for the band.

    12. Brandon | September 6th, 2008 | 10:11 pm

Didn’t half the band quit like a year ago? Did they regroup?

    13. bloodwater | September 8th, 2008 | 7:54 am

it looks like Brad (guitar) and Joey (bass) left…and they picked up Israel (bass - formerly of staple), Andrew (guitar) and Micah (guitar - formerly of falling up)

    14. Manuel | September 8th, 2008 | 8:08 am

Yeah, Disciple has been known to try to break bands apart. xDD

    15. tyler h | September 8th, 2008 | 9:11 am

oh well thats interesting, the guy from falling up is with them now? they used to have nathan from kids in the way when i saw them in february i think it was.

i think that the tour they did last year or early this year was called the southern hospitality tour…so…the name isn’t all that surprising
