    What Age Are You Poll?

I am doing a new poll this time to figure out what age all of our readers are. So please add your age to the poll if you don’t see it yet. Thanks!

According to our last poll for favorite Underoath song, these were your top 5: When the Sun Still Sleeps, Reinventing Your Exit, Some Will Seek Forgiveness Others Will Escape, It’s Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door, and In Regards to Myself. Thanks everyone for voting!

    4. tyler h | September 4th, 2008 | 12:48 pm

no one likes it when you’re twenty-three
and you still act like you’re in freshman year
      whats my age again?

    5. Brandon | September 4th, 2008 | 1:17 pm

Wow, Ten 25 year olds! We’re bringing back the old school! ;)

      I’m still the oldest.

    6. bloodwater | September 4th, 2008 | 1:27 pm

      that surprised me as well
I didn’t realize there others that old

    7. bloodwater | September 4th, 2008 | 1:28 pm

I’m not sure if you are the oldest Brandon
I haven’t seen him post lately but if oldguyfrommillbrook is around, he’s got you beat

    8. Brandon | September 4th, 2008 | 1:35 pm

Yay, a 31 year old just voted. ha. Now, I dont feel so old.

    9. fatpunk | September 4th, 2008 | 2:05 pm

hey guys, I’m 38 and i love spreading the word about your website to all i know. my kids love your free downloads and the info on here. i think i got you all beat. :]>

    10. John Wayne | September 4th, 2008 | 2:11 pm

Excellent reference there Tyler. Love that song + I’m 23. I don’t think I act like I’m still in freshman year though. I’d probably want to be that kid up.

good to see one of my favorite new era-uO songs made the top 5 . Maybe I’m not as far off base as expected.

    11. Brandon | September 4th, 2008 | 2:24 pm

Thanks “fatpunk” for visiting our site and for telling people about it. We all appreciate it :) It’s also good to hear that there is someone else in their 30’s who visits/frequents this site :)

    12. tyler h | September 4th, 2008 | 2:28 pm

i listen to the music that i SHOULD HAVE listened to freshman year, does that count? oh, but i’m 28 :( i dont know how many songs are out there about being 28.

you’re young and depressed but you’re pretty well dressed, yea you’re pretty well dressed

    13. Nate | September 4th, 2008 | 3:22 pm

This is the best poll we’ve had yet. Interesting.

    14. tyler h | September 4th, 2008 | 3:36 pm

apparently you can enter an answer even if its already an answer. weird.

    15. RJ | September 4th, 2008 | 3:39 pm

i must be an idiot. i can’t figure out how to add an answer. i hit “add an answer” and type it in and then when i hit enter or vote nothing happens. ewhat am i supposed to be doing after i type in the number??

    16. Manuel | September 4th, 2008 | 3:51 pm

      I’m a young’un :( I’m 18

    17. Colt | September 5th, 2008 | 2:14 am

tylerh: your song is: “I may be old, but at least I’m not like all those other old guys” by FIF.
“I’m twenty-nine years old, still wearing the wallet chain, like I was twenty-eight. I’m wearing my Vans right now, so high school kids will think that I can skate. I’ve got a degree in science, yet shaking my fists in defiance.

Anyway, I’m not cliché, I hardly own any ties. I may be old, but at least I’m not like all those other old guys. ”

      I’m in manuel’s boat.

    18. Brandon | September 5th, 2008 | 11:40 am

This is a very interesting poll.

    19. tyler h | September 5th, 2008 | 1:10 pm

      wow, colt, wow.

that is closer than you even know.

      i hate ska, but wow.

i’m 28, i have a wallet chain, but i go with converse :) my brother’s degree was science, mine was business, and i do love shaking my fist.

    20. Blair | September 5th, 2008 | 8:17 pm

Good music is not limited to younger ears! 37 years old with a 16 and 14 years old boys loving good hard music! Trying to work on my 8 year old daughter but hard to get her off the hannah montana. Oh well 2 out of three not bad.

    21. Brandon | September 5th, 2008 | 9:04 pm

You’re amazing Blair :) It’s good to have you here.

    22. Brandon | September 6th, 2008 | 9:23 am

Wow, 225 votes in almost 3 days. That’s a lot of people.

    23. dOdOnG | September 6th, 2008 | 11:03 am

      You’re one cool dad Blair!

    24. joe m | September 6th, 2008 | 3:14 pm

I’m one of the slew of 20 year olds here. It seems the 19-21 crowd is the most commmon ones, but the older (no offense :) guys are the ones who are more involved in commenting and such. cool poll!

    25. dOdOnG | September 6th, 2008 | 3:28 pm

Yeah, you seem right Joe. But I hope I won’t be mistaken as one of the “elderly” (no offense) ‘cos I’ve commented maybe more than 5 times today! Hahaha :D

    26. sam30 | September 7th, 2008 | 1:53 pm

so does being 22 make me a part of the older crowd? bit of a stretch, no?

    27. Brandon | September 7th, 2008 | 2:02 pm

Yeah Sam, you’re elderly. ha ha ha.

    28. sam30 | September 7th, 2008 | 2:07 pm

      oh you…
making me “lol” (that’s the term the kids are using, right?)

    29. Brandon | September 7th, 2008 | 2:11 pm

If you’re elderly, what does that make me? Ancient?

    30. sam30 | September 7th, 2008 | 4:28 pm

      archaic…
      haha…

    31. Colt | September 8th, 2008 | 3:42 pm

up to 350 total votes now… wow!

    32. tyler h | September 8th, 2008 | 3:56 pm

      arkane.

and it appears that brandon should now know his demographic…17-21 year olds it is!

    33. Brandon | September 8th, 2008 | 4:06 pm

Yes Tyler, now I am establishing a demographic for Indie Vision Music. It looks our audience is primarily under the age of 21. Though there are quite a few in their mid 20’s as well.
