Haste the Day Joins Solid State Tour

Haste the Day have announced that they will be joining the Solid State Tour along with label mates The Showdown, Norma Jean, My Children My Bride, Oh Sleeper, and Children 18:3. Why Children 18:3 is on this tour is a suprise to me, maybe they are moving in a harder direction? It doesn’t matter, this is great exposure for Children 18:3 and will gain them some new fans. Did I mention that most of the IVM Staff and you readers, love Children 18:3? To see dates, just click below.

Haste always manages to make it to Iowa- that’s why I love them.

    3. bobbythebuff | August 19th, 2008 | 1:18 pm

gayyyyyyyy, no florida dates. i might just hav to drive to georgia for this one

    4. Phil Recognition | August 19th, 2008 | 1:20 pm

i think people will enjoy C.18:3 they cater more to the traditional hardcore/punk crowd

    5. Nate | August 19th, 2008 | 1:48 pm

Adding Children 18:3 has to be the oddest choice ever. I mean ever. Good music, but with this tour? Odd.

    6. LenIVM | August 19th, 2008 | 1:52 pm

Huge opportunity for Children 18:3 …. I am happy for them.

    7. Manuel | August 19th, 2008 | 2:49 pm

11/11 for me. Children 18:3 is going? What for? Last time I checked, it said SOLID STATE TOUR 2008. Eh, whatever.

    8. Levi G | August 19th, 2008 | 3:32 pm

Ha, that’s so great. I might have to catch this.

    9. Colt | August 19th, 2008 | 6:08 pm

10/21 Hawthorne. I will be there. This is a great line up. Children doesn’t really fit (as manuel pointed out), but being able to see them is an added bonus. As long as people don’t try to hardcore dance in their set.

    10. mike | August 19th, 2008 | 10:08 pm

Why are you guys so surprised? Far-Less was on the first SS tour and they were never on Solid State.

Anyway, hooray for Buffalo, but if Norma Jean and Oh, Sleeper aren’t there, I’m not going.

    11. Jay | August 20th, 2008 | 4:32 am

      11/5, will be there.

    12. The Headless Horseman | August 20th, 2008 | 5:04 am

It’s crazy how many people turn out to be from near Pittsburgh.

Shame it couldn’t have been the Famine instead of MCMB, but I will try to catch the Chicago date nonetheless.

    13. mike | August 20th, 2008 | 10:15 pm

Yeah, MCMB doesn’t interest me much either. By the way, I still don’t have The Famine’s CD? How much do I fail because of this (srs. question)?

    14. Manuel | August 20th, 2008 | 10:54 pm

You fail MAJORLY. If you’re into metal, that is.
