Relient K EP/ More Info Concerning the B Sides Record

Relient K announced via their website RelientK.com, that they are releasing a new ep called The Nashville Tennis EP.  Although the c-d will contain 13 songs it being called an ep. Also, the cover for the b sides record called The Bird And The Bee Sides was recently posted on this site.  I wanted readers to note that the record will contain at least 20 songs.  Relient K definetly plans to pump out the music.

13 songs is not an ep

The news section on RK’s website said that they are working on a 13 song ep: “We are not recording the next full length Relient K record, however we have tracked thirteen new original songs that will be going on an EP. We’re calling it The Nashville Tennis EP. We know its a lot of songs for an EP. Whatever.”

Perhaps they are calling this 13 song record an ep as a joke.

Whatever they say it’s called, it cannot “technically,” according to my source, be an EP unless it is less than 25 minutes long. Which is probably doable considering a)it’s relient k, and b)tracks like: Crayons can melt…, etc. Could be a really interesting “EP.”

will it be ep priced or full length priced, thats what really matters

    5. TylerM | May 30th, 2008 | 6:34 am

12 dollars for both combined. That’s what he said at a concert.

Not sure how accurate this is, but here is a track listing of “The Bird And The Bee Sides.” According to this, it will be released July 1st.

its an ep basically because its kind of them just messing around…each of the band members is supposedly singing a song they wrote on it…its just a bunch of random songs, no fluidity to it. who cares what they call it, though, i’ll be buying both i’m guessing.

    8. John Wayne | May 30th, 2008 | 9:39 am

Like Tyler said, it’s an “EP” b/c a bunch of the guys wrote and sing on the songs. Therefore…

If John Warne is singing on it, I’m buying it day one. Not a bash on rK, but it’ll always be Ace Troubleshooter > relient K for me.

i like them both. i only own one ace cd, i need to get more. argh, i suck. haha.

i think they said one half is going to be more up beat and the other half more mello
