      Acoustive…

    2. John | April 30th, 2008 | 6:17 pm

pretty dull (the album), but then again, so was acceptance. there are a few really, really good tracks though (detroit was built on secrets is so danceable)

      …So was Acceptance?

      No.

      Just no.

…What’s Acceptance got to do with it anyway?

    4. jun | April 30th, 2008 | 7:52 pm

      What a joke.

    5. Brandon | April 30th, 2008 | 8:32 pm

Thanks Admiral for enlightening me to the mispelling of my own word. Lol. I fixed it now.

    6. tyler h | April 30th, 2008 | 8:56 pm

you totally fell for peer pressure

    7. ryan | May 1st, 2008 | 1:03 am

someone needs to have their ears cleaned out if they thought acceptance was dull

    8. Jay | May 1st, 2008 | 3:26 am

I think John mentioned Acceptance because STC’s sound is very similar. Acceptance’s songwriting was a bit stronger, though, so they left a better impression even after one listen.

    9. John | May 1st, 2008 | 7:14 am

      nope, acceptance is a bore.

    10. The Headless Horseman | May 1st, 2008 | 7:48 am

Phantoms would be on my perfect list in that thread in the forums.

    11. alexis | May 1st, 2008 | 10:38 am

not bad, but I like the original version!

    12. Brandon | May 1st, 2008 | 10:58 am

“Black Lines to Battlefields” and “Phantoms” are classics by Acceptance. They are certainly no bore. I think Search the City is great, I really like the new album.

    13. The Headless Horseman | May 1st, 2008 | 10:59 am

Thank goodness. I thought I was alone on that one. (Not that that matters.)

    14. jun | May 1st, 2008 | 11:44 am

You are not alone. I think the same and i dont care neither.

    15. Klon_RE | May 1st, 2008 | 11:56 am

I really like the new acoustic, I want it to be for download! But I have the cd and love it! Might be my favorite so far of 2008, and it ranks pretty high of any year for me. I understand that some people think its bland…but I don’t know…i really like it.

    16. alexis | May 1st, 2008 | 12:24 pm

      I second that Klon_RE

    17. Manuel | May 2nd, 2008 | 9:58 am

Yea…bot Acceptance and Search the City are both generically bland. Ugh..

    18. The Headless Horseman | May 2nd, 2008 | 10:30 am

I’m going to write a review primarily concerning that point in the next couple of days, so I will not attempt to flame you now. ;)
