    Rumor Alert: The Showdown

According to voices all over the internet the past few days, it appears as though The Showdown have signed with Solid State Records. Don’t get mad at me if it turns out to be just a nasty rumor. All I can hope for is more progression that started with “Temptation Come My Way”.

That just feels really weird if it’s true. I guess it kinda makes sense though.

I agree with both halves of that comment.

im not sure if showdown should be on solid state…really what can solid state do for them now what they have not already done for themselves…seems like unthought out move on showdowns side

They can certainly put money into promoting the band even more, while keeping in mind the band’s spiritual foundation and supporting it along the way.

im not a big fan of the band or the genre…but i dont understand why they wouldnt fit in with SS?

Yeah Solid State is the perfect label for them. The label has a lot of money to put towards recording and advertising so what that means for us is that we’ll hear a lot more about The Showdown in the future.
