I liked the sound of Mattie's vocals on this album more than For Todays but I think Besieged could find a vocalist who fits their more melodic sound better. Mattie has a more metal vocal. Which I still think is the case. But his vocal quality on here sounds better than the For Today recordings. I talked to one of my friends, and he may be touring/playing with Besieged temporarily, but I wish it'd be for good, since he's a great vocalist. Good review, though, definitely agree.
