Brandon says buy Andy Hunter “Colour”, NOW!

I am listening to Andy Hunter “Colour” right now and I am extremely impressed. I was expecting just more of the same after having “Exodus” in my personal collection but I popped this disc in and became shockingly convinced that there was no way music this good was coming from a Christian DJ (though I’m sure he’d frown upon being called that in public but still….). Lush, ethereal, ambient sonic thrusts of electronic bliss set to the blistering beats of the dance floor. Music like this is hard to find in the Christian realm, I can count on my hand the number of artists playing this type of electronica. Its all the rage in Europe and I’m sure the trend isn’t too far away from reaching our shores. So in a nutshell, I recommend this new Andy Hunter record “Colours” with my highest recommendation. If you’re into Daft Punk, Moby, Justice, The Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers,  Echoing Green, or even Joy Electric, you’ll love it! Listen online here.

I would also agree. I’m listening to it right now and would support every part of brandon’s post. I’ve been listening more and more to artists like daft punk, chromeo, justice and mstrkrft…this album is on par with any of its counterparts

I am really suprised at the fact that this CD wasa good. I am not usually a fan of dance music but this CD is great.
