Box Office Chart for March 16th

Horton Hears a Who scored the top spot at the box office this weeked, taking in $45million. 10,000BC slipped to second place with a take of $16.4million ($61.2 million total). The relatively unknown, Never Back Down, came in third with a take of $8.6million showing that Myspace still has a force with advertising. College Road Trip was in fourth with $7.8million ($24.2 million total). Vantage Point rounds out the top 5 with a take of $5.4million ($59.2million total). Interesting notes about the rest of the top 10, Doomsday failed to generate much interest and only took in $4.7million in it’s first week. The Will Ferrell comedy, Semi-Pro, continues to suffer at the box office and has slipped to 8th place in it’s third week with a total take of $29.8million. I heard the radio commercial for “never back down” like 20 times over the weekend and I still have no idea what it’s about, very uninformative commercial.

      Haha, Doomsday flopped.

      Forget Doomsday, look at Semi-Pro! {smiles deviously} I can’t stand Will Ferrell.

Isn’t “Never Back Down”, a “Fight Club” inspired movie?
