no. i mean in concertin temecula, california. he was just standing there, by himself, blue jeans and a tshirt, rapping to his background music. boring show. worse than LA symphany (which has way too many dorky white guy rappers), who at least TRY to put on a show. mix in a DJ, man. something.

wow. i think la symphony is probably one of the best christian hip hop groups out there. if you wanna talk about talentless dork white rappers, throw john reuben and kj52 in the mix.

They aren’t my favorite, but writing them off or calling them talentless is tactless and flat out a lie.

i liked reuben a hundred times better than either. the only christian rappers i think i like are GRITS.

A few statements:

Neither John Reuben or KJ-52 are talentless. Both are talented at what they do.

I think there’s one white guy in LA Symphony and the other two you’re thinking of are Hispanic (correct me if I’m wrong).

LA Symphony is one of the better hip hop groups out there period. They are up there in my book along with others like Jurassic 5, Aesop Rock, and Dilated Peoples.

The comments here, excluding Levi, show
a lack of knowledge when it comes to rap and hip hop. It’s like the old Christian rock isn’t as good as mainstream debate except this one is still going. It’s like a mental block which doesn’t allow someone to recognize talent. I’m not saying you have to like all or any of them but clearly you shouldn’t make judgments of talent.

So I have Soul P.’s Cd. If anything, I think I would know quite a bit about Christian hip hop, as I’ve been following the genre for quite some time.

okay, so i see a show and can’t say it was an awful show because you think they have talent? okay, so they merely LOOKED white. so they are only dorky hispanics. whatever. and i wasn’t really saying that mainstream rappers are any better, really i just dont like that much rap, but i was left unimpressed with both la symph and soul p, whereas reuben was actually a good show. this doesnt mean their records arent good, i wouldnt know, but their shows were double lame. and everyone is allowed to judge talent. for example, josh is a talentless writer. see, its easy :-p
