Well as you have all heard Quick and the Dead have indeed broken up. The reasons for doing so is because of a change of directions in the music and of course the revolving lineup. The band has changed styles of music and they didnt feel right working under the same name. So Shane, Kerry, and Bray will continue to write music and record an ep then they’ll announce the new name. These guys do have potential as songwriters so keep an eye out for the new tunes. For now, you can hear Shane’s solo stuff on Myspace and purchase his first full length (I did) right here. Unfortunately with the band break up it leaves me stuck with a bunch of cds that probably wont sell because the band of course wont be touring. I need to sell these cds so I have dropped the price to $5.00ea in our store. You get 13 tracks for the nice price of just $5. The album is going to be on Itunes still with that bonus track “I Am to Blame” so if you want to hold out for that, just give it 1-2 weeks. Yeah I am disappointed with the wait on Itunes too but it’s in the hands of another company and they were having difficulties uploading it which is why there have been so many delays.
