xLookingForwardx will play anywhere in the world!

Apparently the boys in in xLFx are taking a long break from big tours and are only going to do weekend excursions from now on (atleast for awhile anyways). They’ll play your city so long as you provide gas and food money and if your too far for driving you can supply plane tickets. They’re doing this so they can spend time with their families during the week and still keep the band going. For more details check out their myspace blog. Myspace blog

    August Burns Red Video Release

August Burns Red will be debuting their video for “Composure” this Thursday, September 6th on myspace. It will be on of the featured videos. Honestly, I’m getting tired of the waiting game for these videos. Shouldn’t they be released before the album drops so it’ll help get the word out through the various video outlets? What do you guys think?

    Havalina Downloads

Any Havalina (Rail Co) fans here? Well I ran across this page which has a zip download of “Russian Lullabies” which was released on Jackson Rubio in 1997. You can also download a 26 song retrospective called “We Remember Anarchy“. Sadly, it’s in .M4A but it’s better than nothing. It includes 19 songs from their albums & 7 new ones (2 live, 4 unreleased, one from a Tooth & Nail sampler).

    Embodyment Demo

Were you upset when Embodyment (Solid State / XS Records) broke up? Did you know they recorded a 5 song demo before they did? Well I stumbled across a page a few weeks ago where you can now download 4 of these demos. Click here to check it out. Enjoy!

    Gasoline Heart Purevolume Sessions

You can click here to check out Gasoline Heart’s Purevolume Sessions. There are 5 videos to check out including a song that was not on their Mono Vs. Stereo debut “You Know Who You Are“. These are definitely worth your time.

Prepare for an onslaught of comments

Prepare for an onslaught of comments about who is metal who is hardcore who is both and who is neither. That means it’s time for a new poll, though this time I enabled the “Add Answers” box so you can write in your favorite band that isn’t listed. I only put up three bands just to start the poll. Living Sacrifice is my overall favorite of all time so add yours now!!! Then come back here and unleash your comments and argue you about who is more metal than who ;)

The band has apparently put up a new song that seems like a demo called “Seize The Day” to their myspace.
