Earth From Above is a brutal metal outfit from Los Angeles County, California. They blend styles of metalcore, grind, and other forms of metal into a cohesive onslaught. Check out the brand new downloadable track on now!

Lovelite is a worship band yes, but not your typical sounding one. They’re no Hillsong United, but more along the lines of the UK rock bands and some of the newer bands on Floodgate or Credential Recordings.

Blue Birds & Bright Lights are a duo from Highland, Indiana that you really should get to know. The band started as an instrumental group for David Lubarski, who based upon his list of instruments surely is a talented man. He brought in Angelina Lucero to handle the vocals and they make a beautiful team. Musically it’s lighthearted indie rock with electronic sounds as well. Very poppy, yet mellow. I wont attempt to describe any further because I will butcher it. Trust me and take a listen. The band has posted the new song “You’re No Walk In The Park” and will have their new album “I Know What Makes Me Strong” soon.

Tomfest is happening August 8th-15th this year in Washington. If you’re interested in playing the festival click here to find out how. It seems there are some changes to how the fest works, but then again I could be wrong since I’m not terribly familiar with the festival. I have always wanted to go to it but it’s way to far of a trip for me. Anyone ever gone?
