Flatfoot 56 Finish Record
Flatfoot 56 have wrapped up recording, mixing, and mastering their new album, “Jungle Of The Midwest Sea“. The album will release May 15th on Flicker Records. The band has landed a few good tours and will be touring extensively during February and March and the festival season. Dates are at the first link. January 31st, 2007
Daphne Loves Derby Post New Track

Watch Letterman this Friday night, not because he’s funny (he’s not), but because Dustin Kensrue will be performing. Gotee Records have signed Our Heart’s Hero. Classic Christian metal band Neon Cross have decided to create an album focusing on metal versions of hymns (as well as some live recordings and b-sides). January 30th, 2007
Tooth & Nail Signs A Dream Too Late
I was randomly going through my friends on myspace and listening to the band’s I didn’t recognize. Well, I was as surprised as you are now, when I saw A Dream Too Late listing they were signed to Tooth & Nail. I checked the member pages and they also said that, as did their website news section. Apparently they just recently wrapped up the recording in Nashville. No more word for now. Thoughts? January 30th, 2007

new Solid State band, Derek Webb albums, sales…
Solid State Records have just signed Cry of the Afflicted. Looks like they’re trying to really get away from the stereotype held by most metal labels. Derek Webb’s new albums, Zero One (acoustic), and Zero One (remix), have been released today. They both feature new takes on ten songs from his previous albums. Want to stock up on Facedown releases? Well they’re currently clearing their warehouses, and therefore offering a “grab bag” of 15 albums for only $15. The Militia Group have added the video for the Umbrellas‘ song “Again & Again” to youtube. I just rediscovered my old Hangnail album Facing Changes. Now there’s some good old Tooth & Nail punk rock. Woodale Signed?
Woodale is apparently signed to the label/management company, Silent Majority Group. The band will be recording their new full length with Aaron Marsh of Copeland soon. Look for a summer release. January 30th, 2007

Sleeping Giant Officially on Facedown Records
It’s official, Sleeping Giant have been added to the Facedown Records roster. Their debut full length “Dread Champions of the Last Days” will be out in stores this spring on the label. Anberlin Review
There is absolutely no news to report to you this morning. Yeah, it’s bad. So I thought I’d post a link up to the first Anberlin review of “Cities”, on the net. How they got this cd, I have no idea. I sure would have liked one though. Oh and I find it humorous that The Chinese Express all of a sudden have like 100 votes in our poll. I think someone is sending out myspace bulletins. ha. Oh well.
