Aloha
[ Still here in Hawaii……..I leave tomorrow afternoon and then we’re home free. Our time here has been priceless and yet again, memories are created. We made a trip to the north shore on Saturday which is about 45 minutes away and a beautiful drive through lush greenery and jungle like forests. At the far end of the road on the North side, you come to a dead end which is the final beach (that you can drive to) on the island. It’s an incredible place that we have to stop at everytime we’re here. I just fall in love with the sheer beauty of the place. I contemplate and am constantly reminded of God’s mighty creations when I view this place. Which reminds me, I miss Church and I haven’t been there in a month or so. That was kind of random. Anyway….Oh yeah I almost forgot, our car air conditioning broke again for the third time. Ha ha ha. Oh man we have the best of luck sometimes don’t we? At least I haven’t gotten any more speeding tickets (Keep your fingers crossed). The waves are big too, nice!Okay, enough of my junk, here is some news for you. You can listen to the entire Showbread disc at AOL Music, click here. (It reminds me of this band The Vines). I can’t remember if I stated this in an earlier post or not but we have new songs up on MySpace. Buzzgrinder gave us this link to a new Spiderman 3 trailer on YouTube. Speaking of YouTube, I accidentally taped over the two newer Pennylane songs from their show the other night but luckily I still have two songs on the tape. I am going to try my best to figure a way to edit the tape and upload it to YouTube. Thrush just contacted me and let me know that their ep is finally finished and at the pressing plant right now. We will be getting these albums in stock for the store so get ready. Thrush features former members of Craig’s Brother, Too Bad Eugene, and Next in Line. Gasoline Heart has a new album dropping in stores nationwide tomorrow. Make sure to pick it up. I forgot to ask everyone this earlier, but what do you all think of the new Dogwood tunes? Are you liking them? Let us and the band know what you think by posting in the comments. July 31st, 2006

What’s Up! A Good Morning To You!
[ What’s up everyone? Hopefully you’re all doing well in the heat out there on the mainland P.S. I went Kayaking the other day and it was absolutely a beautiful site riding up and down the river here. Well, talk to you all soon. Have a wonderful day and keep the fire burning deep inside. Despite the need for rooting out terrorism in the middle east, I truly wish and hope for peace out there, across all borders and boundaries. I know that it’s impossible in this complicated world but I am saddened by the suffering of the innocents out there caught up in this mess, and our soldiers too. Take care. Playlist for today: By the way, the Fireflight disc is beyond excellent. I am completely in love with it’s sweeping soundscape and beautiful melodies. This is one of my most recommended discs of the moment and I encourage ALL of you to save your money, go out and BUY this incredible album. It’s is worth all of your hard earned money. They have a unique enough sound and in my opinion, one of the absolute best female fronted bands in today’s music climate. Check them out hereif you haven’t already. Go check out theIndie Vision Music MySpace page, I added four new tracks from our compilation on the page. July 29th, 2006

[ Sender, the acoustic project of Laine from Pennylane, has a new song up on MySpace The new Seth Roberts(Watashi Wa/Eager Seas) project LAKES, will release their debut ep on September 6th through The Militia Group. We have the new songs from Dogwood and Man Alive in our Music Player in case you were unaware. Just click to open the player and listen to those songs in their entirety. Only 5 days left of our trip to Hawaii and then it’s back to the mainland. It’s actually hotter at home then it is here. Tomorrow is the Pennylane show and it’s supposed to rain hard here. It should be fun, I hope. I am going to try real hard to figure a way to record a song of Pennylane’s set and upload it to YouTube. We’ll See..I bought a PSP the other day so we are keeping ourselves occupied by playing games (and visiting the beach of course). I also bought Benchwarmers and we watched it last night. Funny stuff. ha. I do miss home and the joys of working. I just cry myself to sleep at night thinking of all those wonderful days working hard manufacturing parts and the all the missed hours…..Of course I’m kidding. Do you think I’m nuts? ha. So how many of you people think Pennylane should stay together for good and put out another cd? Please post your thoughts and I’ll refer your comments to the band. July 27th, 2006

Music Player
[ As some of you may know, we have our very own music player in the upper right hand corner of this website. All you need to do is click on it and it will start playing. If you want to stream all the songs while you look at our site, the best way to do it is click the player then launch a new Internet Explorer (or firefox) window and click to our website in the new window. Then with the new window you can search through our site while the other window plays the songs. We are trying to have the player stay stationary at the top no matter what page you are on but we haven’t quite got it working yet. Anyway, please do use our player and listen to new music you may have not heard before. These current songs will change rotation on July 30th at which time Josh will load the next batch. So what do you guys and gals think of the new Norma Jean track? If you haven’t listened to it yet, please click here and do so. You’ll be pleasantly surprised. July 25th, 2006

I got the air conditioning fixed in our car today and it only cost me $16. Yay! So now we finally have air conditioning in our old school car we’re driving here. Other news, well not much really. Just been busy at the beach and driving around the island, having a good time with my wife and son. I did hear some interesting news on the tv today, apparently there is a tropical storm heading our way (possibly) so that should be fun. I like these Tours!
[ xLookingForwardx is planning a nationwide punk tour. Our Corpse Destroyed and Flatfoot 56 (hopefully) will join them on tour. They are hammering out the tour process right now. This is probably the most exciting thing I’ve heard this summer, and I really hope they come to a city near me. This is punk rock My Epic is doing an awesome job on tour. Be sure to catch them on tour with Emerson and Our Finest Hour as they tour the southern East Coast. I had the chance to catch the tour as it stopped in Vienna, Virginia at McLean Bible Church. The church features a fully functional arcade (Xbox and large flat screen included), four ping pong tables, full court basketball court, and a work out gym. But anyways, Emerson and My Epic did an amazing job and definitely were worth the hour and half drive in Washington D.C. traffic to get there.el touro In other news, beyond popular belief Bloody Sunday is not breaking up. The reason for the lack of updates is that they are taking a lot of time writing and making sure that they are doing this for the right reasons. I say let them write as long as they have to; let this record be phenomenal! Be sure to catch some of their shows in the near future if you are in the Virginia Beach area. myspace blog July 23rd, 2006
Midnight Hour
[ Midnight Hour have a new live video posted. Click Here. The reason for the delay on their debut ep, “Ghost in the Mirror” is due to them signing a deal with a record company. More news on who, later. Hawaii is 3 hours behind the west coast and 6 hours behind the east coast. So it’s 6:40 am as I write this. Yeah, I can’t sleep. I’m about to head off to the beach so I’ll talk to you all later. Only 6 days left till the Pennylane show here! I have a feeling the whole island will show up. ha. July 23rd, 2006

Keep this band and their families in your prayers as war hits their homeland of Israel. Norma Jean will be posting a new song to their myspace this coming Tuesday night. Gasoline Heart has a new e-card. So how is everyone? I am still on vacation here in Hawaii and loving it up. Live from Hawaii!
[I dont have much music news to report to you today, sorry folks. Instead I'll talk about my vacation fun. I am currently sitting here in the condo staring out at the beautiful pacific ocean courtesy of Hawaii. We had a bit of rough start. ha, you could say that. We arrived to a car without air conditioning and then get this, I got a speeding ticket all within 2 hours of being here. Yeah, sucks big time. I didnt know the speeding limit was 25mph. My fault. Anyway, at least the sites are incredibly beautiful or I'd be more upset. The lame thing is that I already got a ticket at home 4 months ago, so this one's going on the record. My foot likes that gas pedal. ha ha. I didn't know a 16 year old car could get me a speeding ticket here. ha. Oh well. Maybe I'll update again soon with our adventures in a few days. For now, enjoy the news fun that only Josh, Cory, Len, Wilhelm, and Eric can deliver. Yeah you guys, you better keep this site updated or you're going to get a beatdown!! ha. Later people......... One such article is about his views of being “large” in the “worship industry”… its a VERY good read. so yeah, check his group of worshippers out! well… if you are still alive for the end of this news post, i thank you for taking your time to read and bore yourself with my usually long news posts…. ohhhh, and one more thing! I just bought the My Epic cd from the IVM music store (which is right here for those of you who are too lazy to look for it)… I can’t recommend this band’s cd strongly enough. the songs and lyrics are strongly heartfelt and passionate. For anyone with a taste for beautiful and strongly intense music should hop on over to the IVM store and buy it right away! Over and out. July 18th, 2006
