[Tooth & Nail has added a lot of more songs to their One Dark Summer digital sampler, including new songs from The Almost, Jonezetta, Dead Poetic, Inhale Exhale, Destroy the Runner, Twelve Guage Valentine, Showbread, and more.

[According to a Slow Coming Day newsletter the band is finished recording new songs. They will post the first song on July 1st through their MySpace page. The rest of the songs will appear on an ep the band will be selling at shows and online in July.

[We reported already that Creation Northeast has been cancelled this year but why not starting planning for next year. Creation has indeed announced a third location for their massive festivals. Creation Southwest has been added to the 2007 schedule and will be held June 7-9 at the Willowood Ranch putside of Sherman, Texas.

Flatfoot 56 has a brand new track up that will be released on their upcoming 2007 Flicker release.

It’s official, Life In Your Way has signed with Solid State Records. They’ll be recording this fall with a new release planned for early 2007.

[Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster are relentless with their touring. Man… they are basically on the road from now through mid September. They are finishing up their Warped Tour run this weekend, then joining the As Cities Burn tour, and then have just been announced as the opening slot on the Pure Hostility Tour with Throwdown, Zao, & Evergreen Terrace. This tour is yet another tour sponsored by Purevolume and dates are still being confirmed.

Do me a favor and go to RadRockers and check out the amazing selection there. They have some sweet older albums that you can check out for cheap. The owner ended up leaving for Creation a few hours before they cancelled it so he spent a bunch of time & money getting there and back and wasn’t obviously able to sell anything. So please go look around and order something if you can. Thanks!

[It's official, Underoath's sales for the past week were 95,000 albums!! That is the biggest one week sales in T&N history (and Underoath history ;). I almost wonder if this is the biggest one week numbers for any hardcore/metalcore album?

A new Dead Poetic song, "Narcotic" has been posted up on MySpace and Purevolume [absolutepunk.net] Their third full length “Vices” hits stores on October 31st via Tooth and Nail. Post your thoughts in the comments.

Demon Hunter will be re-releasing “The Tryptych” on October 31st. The album will come packaged with a full on detailed DVD with videos, behind the scenes, live footage, you name it. The cd will come with 4 bonus tracks. To read more about it, click here.

Audio Adrenaline will be breaking up after the release of their final album, a greatest hits collection titled “Adios”.

Check out this pretty cool band from Australia, Antiskeptic. They have a new ep due out soon.

Cool Hand Luke have a new album hitting stores in September.

Stryper has a new dvd “Greatest Hits Live In Puerto Rico”. It runs around 100 minutes as was filmed in 2004.

Haste The Day are headlining The Purevolume Silver Bullet tour, a40 date tour starting August 15. Also on the tour are Scary Kids Scaring Kids (Immortal), August Burns Red & Inhale Exhale (Solid State). Ligeia (Ferret) will also be on the tour Aug. 26-Sept. 3) Pre-Sale Tickets available here. According to their website, Becoming The Archetype will be supporting Himsa on their west coast run. That’s pretty awesome for the BTA guys!

Rock For Life has some new designs here.

Decyfer Down has been getting great reviews as of late and have captured R&R Christian rock’s #1 spot for “Life Again”. They have also been getting alof of airplay at sporting events and television shows.

Blood & Ink Records have posted their pre-order for The Gentleman Homicide. A mere $15 will get you the new album, “Understanding The Words We Speak” and an exclusive t-shirt.

Jonezetta’s “Popularity” will release August 29th on Tooth & Nail.

The Working Title will be leaking a new song on Purevolume til the release of “about-face” on 7/18. You’ll be able to hear a good portion of the new songs before buying.

Nevertheless has new tunes here to listen to. They are also filming a video for the track “The Real” very soon.

Underneath The Gun posted the song “Discordant” from their new album The Awakening.

I went to Springfield, MO last night to see Flee the Seen, Chiodos, Haste the Day, and It Dies Today. Flee the Seen really impressed me with the combo of screaming and singing, and Haste threw down most awesome breakdowns.

UnderOath’s song Ever So Inviting will be featured on the Madden ‘07 in-game soundtrack.
