Stavesacre…10 year anniversaries…….
[
The new Stavesacre record “How to Live With a Curse” is not coming out until March 21st. It was originally reported that the album would release in February but we now we have to wait. At least there is something to look forward to. Do you know that this is the 10 year anniversary of the band’s “Friction” record? It’s also the 10 year for “Life in General” by Mxpx (and who can forget Ghoti Hook ”Sumo Surpise, Slick Shoes “Rusty”, and The OC Supertones“Adventures”). Now these are some records that Tooth and Nail SHOULD be re-releasing. It’s also my ten year high school reunion this year. Crazy to think how fast the time flies.
Jesse Sprinkle of Dead Poetic wants you guys to know that he has a couple other bands he’s involved with:
A Cold Vein and The Disaster Pack

Dance, Dance, Dance
[
This popped into my MySpace bulletin space today from your friends and mine, Brandtson:
“ We have recently finished recording our newest LP, which will be titled “Hello, Control.” We’re super jazzed with how this came out, and cannot wait for you all to hear it. The release date is pending, but should be sometime in April or May of this coming spring.
We again joined forces with Ed Rose for production, and Chris Fudurich is currently mixing the tracks. As usual working with Ed was an incredible process; the man has so many brilliant ideas and is a master at getting the perfect tones. This will be our first time working with Chris, but we’re huge fans of the work he has done, and are anxious to hear how he interprets these songs.
Before we entered the studio we had somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 songs- we took that list, beat it into submission- kept the good stuff and weeded out the weaker material. The final outcome is 13 songs. Not only do we think this is the best stuff weve done to date- We also have the best intentions when we say that we will Rock Your Body’ J.T. style.”

Front page, Church under Attack!
[
Facedown rookies Flee The Seen and Facedown veterans A Love For Enemies are both featured on the front page of Purevolume.com.
Also keep the boys from xLookingForwardx and their child hood church in your prayers as their church was recently robbed. They released this bulletin on Myspace.com
“Some of you may hear a story on the news this evening regarding a church that was robbed last night. Well, that church was the church that Justin and I attended for the majority of our childhood, and that the rest of our family still attends. The church is less than a mile from our homes. The story has made national news, and it happened right here in Bel Air.
This incident has certainly stirred the community, and I ask that you pray for Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, the congregation, and the 50 or so members of the church that were victimized in the robbery. All of us in xlfx would greatly appreciate it.
There isn’t much information to be had regarding the incident, but this foxnews.com article pretty much covers it. Thanks, and take care.
